360 Rock Band is $20 more for the guitar but the ps3 is $220 more than the core.

If I remember correctly that was sony copying Nintendo. Microsoft was making games far before sony. Microsoft games for windows.
I hope they drop the price another $50 in the fall. Its hard enough for sony to compete now, can you imagine another $50.

It will be interesting to see how sales figures will be over the next four weeks , with the sku change 60 to 80.
The tables have turned. I'd say its got a better chance of selling 6 million on the 360. How many ps3 have been sold again 3.5 million. Yeah...
Also Rockstar is having trouble developing for the ps3. I wonder if they will rethink current projects under development for the ps3... Yeah

That has to scare potential ps3 developers and if it doesn't it should.
I can't wait until Rockstar abandons sony. I'd say by this time next year. Just read the article PS3 GTA IV "Unplayable" but the 360 version is ready to go. That can't make rockstar to happy to miss the holidays.

sony manages to sell a quarter of what the wii sold and thats catching up... Wow the ps3 has a long way to go in Japan.

There would be no room for the ps3 it has been in last place in all total sales since release.

28% of US homes have HDTV whats the advantage of HD movies to the rest? I am willing to bet out of 28% only like 5% are interested in an HD movie players. Until a player is sold under $200 there will be no clear winner. Only ps3 owners that have no games to play are tipping the scales a little bit. the consumer will decide not a bunch of fanboy ps3 owners.

I can't wait to play, pre-ordered like a month ago.
The current ps3 Blu-ray would be better suited for the ps2. Take a 4GB game move it to Blu-ray and instantly the game is 12GB because of data padding. I can't remember the last pc game I installed that didn't fit on a DVD. If I wanted games that were 90% cgi rendered video, I would want blu-ray.

Halo 3 will sell more copies in preorders than all those games you just listed.
